Born in Mexico City on August 16, 1994, Pérez had an interest in combat sports activities from an early age. When he was ten years old, he started learning Taekwondo and Judo, which marked his entry into the field of martial arts.
As a teenager, he turned to mixed martial arts and competed in his first beginner competitions. Pérez knew that success in mixed martial arts required intensive training and constant self-improvement.
