They also arrested two brothers from Bulandshahr who had allegedly helped them obtain fake documents. Haider denied any reference to ISI and claimed that she was merely a housewife who loved Meena.
She also appealed to the President of India for mercy to allow her to remain in India with her husband and children.
He said he feared for his life if he returned to Pakistan, where his family and community would not accept him.
