He was a member of a close-knit family consisting of two brothers and two sisters belonging to the Bengali ethnic community and adopted Islam as his religion.
Himu did his initial training for SSC at Motijheel Ideal School and College and later joined Dhaka City College for HSC training.
Due to his passion for literature, he pursued his higher education at Jagannath University and earned a degree in English Literature.
Himu’s deep love for acting emerged from the beginning, due to which he joined the prestigious theater group Aranyak Natyadal in 2006.
